Day 1: Pristina – Koman Ferry – Tirana ( approx. 5 hours drive)

Early in the morning at 06:00 we leave Pristina and drive to Fierza ferry terminal where will take the ferry to Koman on the lake with the same name. A magnificent two hour ride where the beauty of the high pointed mountains falling sharply into the waters of the artificial lake of opal green waters, forms a natural panorama which will leave you gasping for air. After this spectacle of nature drive to Albania’s vibrant capital Tirana where we will visit the National History Museum which offers a great introduction to Albania and its people. BUNK'ART 2 is the second phase of an historical-cultural project that is focused on the preservation of the collective memory and on telling the story of the communist regime, including the horrors of that regime. Skanderbeg Square, the Hadji Et'hem Bey Mosque is a mosque in Tirana, Albania. Closed under communist rule, the mosque reopened as a house of worship in 1991. Without permission from the authorities, 10,000 people attended and the police did not interfere. Frescoes outside and in the portico depict trees, waterfalls and bridges etc. Overnight. Hotel Opera 4* or Similar.

Day 2: Tirana – Berat (UNESCO) – Durres - Tirana (approx. 4 hours drive)

After breakfast take a driven tour to Berat, one of the most visited and characteristic towns in Albania under the protection of UNESCO as a patronage of humanity for its architectural uniqueness. We visit the Castle and the Onufri Museum. Berat castle is of particular interest as people still live within its walls in their traditional houses, as have their ancestors for centuries. The castle used to have over 40 churches of which 7 still remain including St. Mary’s church turned into Onufri Museum. Onufri was a famous Albanian Icon master painter of the 16th century who painted many orthodox churches in Albania and Greece, using a special red colour. On the way back to Tirana we will stop in Durres, to relax a bit in one of the beaches of Durres, if it is the summer season, you can do the afternoon beach. After the planned visit return to Tirana for Overnight. Hotel Opera 4* or Similar.

Day 3: Tirana - Kruja – Pristina (approx. 3,5 hours drive)

After breakfast depart to city of Kruja which is only 20 km north from Tirana. The name of the city is related to the Albanian word kroi, krua, meaning "fountain". In ancient times the region of Kruja was inhabited by the Illyrian tribe of the Albani, while the town is located near the Iron Age Illyrian site of Zgërdhesh. Some scholars have identified the site with the main settlement of the Albani, Albanopolis, while others identified Albanopolis with Krujë itself. During the Illyrian Wars the area of Krujë was captured by the Roman Republic. Kruja has a very rich history also for Early medieval time, Byzantine, Ottoman etc. What we will visit today is: The Skanderbeg museum, founded in 1982, was built in the environs of the Kruja castle. Its collection includes mostly 15th century artifacts related to the Albanian-Ottoman wars, during which the castle was besieged four times by the Ottoman army. The national ethnographic museum of Kruja was founded in 1989 and is located in a 15–6 room villa of the Toptani family built in 1764. The main exhibits of the museum are objects of artisanship, whose age varies from 60 to 500 years. The Bazaar of Kruja, otherwise known as the Bazaar of Derexhik, lies on both sides of the cobbled road that leads to the castle of Kruja. This bazaar has been operating since the time of Skanderbeg in the 15th century. The shops have wooden walls, ceilings and shutters. Here tourists have the opportunity to buy various handicraft items such as works in silver, copper, alabaster, embroidery, jewelry, filigree, carpets, etc. The bazaar has been restored as part of the 500th anniversary of Skanderbeg's birth. After all this visits drive back to Pristina. End of our service.
