Day 1: Prishtina Airport – Gadima Cave – Ulpiana –Monastery of Gracanica - Prishtina (approx. 1.15 min drive) D
Arrival: Land at Prishtina International Airport. Our guide will welcome you and start the tour from here, drive and Visit Monastery of Gracanica (UNESCO) then Ulpiana archeological site continue to Gadima Cave. Lunch: Try local specialties at a popular lunch spot. (Lunch for today is not included in the program).
Afternoon in Prishtina: Walking tour and visit the Ethnographic Museum, Newborn Monument, National Library of Kosovo and Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa. Transfer to Hotel: Check in at your hotel in Prishtina for 6 overnights. Evening: Discover nightlife at Mother Teresa Boulevard with bars and cafés.
Dinner is included for tonight: Enjoy a traditional dinner at a local restaurant such as Liburnia or similar.
Clarification: If your arrival flight is in the morning or afternoon, the itinerary will remain as it is, but if your arrival flight is in the evening and your return flight is in the evening, the visits on this day will be transferred to the last day of the Itinerary.
Day 2: Cooking Class in Prishtina (approx. 50 min drive) B, L
Morning after breakfast: Begin your cooking class where you’ll learn to make traditional Kosovo dishes like flija or sarma. Lunch: Enjoy the fruits of your labor with a meal you’ve learned and prepared. Afternoon: Continue the class, focusing on desserts such as baklava, Tespishte or tulumba. - Evening: Visit a local market or enjoy free time. - Overnight in Prishtina.
Day 3: Continue Cooking Class Tour (approx. 50 min drive) B, L, D
Morning after breakfast: Explore more advanced cooking techniques and dishes with your class. Lunch: Sample the day’s creations. Afternoon: Wrap up your cooking experience with a focus on presentation and garnishing. Evening during your dinner: Receive a certificate of completion and enjoy a group dinner.
Day 4: Visit Prizren & Wine Tasting in Rahovec (3.1-hour drive) B, L- and wine testing
Morning after breakfast: Travel to Prizren for a guided tour. Visit the Stone Bridge, Sinan Pasha Mosque, The Museum of Albanian League, if you are fit to walk, visit also the Fortress for panoramic views. Lunch: Enjoy a local meal in Prizren. Afternoon: Head to Rahovec for a wine tasting experience in one of the region’s renowned vineyards. Learn about local wine production and savor different varietals.
Evening: Return to Prishtina for your overnight stay.
Day 5: Prishtina - Peja, UNESCO Site, and Rugova Gorge – Prishtina (4.4-hour drive) B, L
Morning after breakfast: Drive to Peja, a city at the foot of the Rugova Mountains. Visit the UNESCO-listed Patriarchate of Peja, an important Orthodox monastery. Afternoon: Explore the Rugova Gorge, known for its dramatic cliffs and beautiful scenery. Consider a short hike optional or simply enjoy the views. Have a traditional lunch at a family in Rugova mountains. Evening: Return to Prishtina. Relax and enjoy a quiet evening at your hotel or explore local cafes.
Day 6: Journey into Kosovo Albanian Folklore (approx. 1-hour drive) B, L
After Breakfast attend a traditional music workshop, learning about instruments like the çiftelia, sharkia and Lahuta. Lunch: Have a group meal featuring Kosovo cuisine. Afternoon: Participate in a storytelling session focusing on local legends and tales.
Day 7: Continued Cultural Immersion (approx. 1-hour drive) B, L, D
Morning after your breakfast: Learn traditional Kosovo Albanian dances with a dance class. Lunch: Share a meal with your instructors and fellow learners. Afternoon: Start practicing the lessons you've learned about instruments and dancing. Evening: Celebrate with a cultural night featuring demonstrations of your new skills. Evening: Attend a performance of traditional music and dance.
Day 8: Departure (approx. 45 min drive) B
Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast reflecting on your trip.
Free Time: Do any last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
Transfer: Head to Prishtina International Airport for your departure as per your flight schedule.

Best months for tours
We recommend you booking this tour for one of the months: March, April, May, June, September, October or November. However, this tour can be booked also in other months as per your request, we arrange the tour during the 12 months of the year.
Cancellation Policy
Payment Conditions for all our clients that book directly at our website.
1.1. THE CLIENT is required to pay Balkan Destination a deposit of 30% of the total amount at the moment he/she book the tour as per departure dates or Private tour or (FIT) at our website.
1.2. The remaining 70% of the total amount must be paid to Balkan Destination LTD, no later than 30 days prior to start date of services of this tour group departure or Private (FIT) tour.
1.3. If you book this tour within 30 days before the tour starts according to the group departure dates or as per your departure date as a private or (FIT) tour, we will require from you to pay 100% whole amount before the tour starts.
Cancellation Policy for Group Departure dates and Private Tours
For group tours of 6 people or more, the following cancellation policy will apply:
a. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 45 days or more, prior to the arrival date, then a full refund will be given, minus a bank transaction charges.
b. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 44 to 30 days, prior to the arrival date, a 10 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
c. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 29 to 21 days, prior to the arrival date, a 30 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
d. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 20 to 15 days, prior to the arrival date, a 50 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
e. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 14 to 7 days, prior to the arrival date, a 70 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
f. If the reservation is cancelled/amended less than 7 days prior to the arrival date a non-refund will apply.
g. In case of no shows or early interruption of services a strict non-refund rule will apply.
Cancellation for FIT/Individuals private bookings. FIT tours of 5 participants or less which have been confirmed paid and Invoice settled, can be cancelled without penalty up to 10 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations after this deadline will be charged 100% in full. Bank transfer for refunds will be the recipients’ responsibility. Balkan Destination reserve the right to cancel any of the published tours on our site only according to fixed dates that are published for groups. When there are not enough participants on the relevant dates, in such cases, we may cancel the departure date by notifying the clients that already booked in a written notice, no later than 30 days prior to the start of the tour departure date. In such cases when we cancel a departure due to insufficient participants on the due date, the clients will be refunded all the money 100 % they have paid to us in total.
