Day 1: Arrival in Podgorica or Tivat Airport – Podgorica (15 minutes driving time)
Upon arrival at Podgorica International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro. Take a city tour to explore the historical and cultural landmarks of Podgorica, such as the Clock Tower, Millennium Bridge, and the Old Town. Overnight in Podgorica, 4-star Aurel Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Podgorica - Cetinje and Lovcen National Park - Kotor (2.2 Hours driving time) B
After breakfast drive up to visit the town of Cetinje, the former capital of Montenegro, known for its historical significance and beautiful architecture. Explore the Cetinje Monastery which houses important religious relics and artifacts and the Presidential Palace and National Museum. The journey then continues to the beautiful Lovcen National Park and visit the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic-Njegos, a famous Montenegrin ruler and poet. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and coastline. After this visits drive to Kotor for overnight at 3-star Art Hotel Galathea or similar.
Day 3: Kotor and Perast – Kotor (1 Hours driving time) B
After breakfast visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kotor, a medieval town located on the Bay of Kotor. Explore the narrow streets and squares of the Old Town, visit the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, and climb the city walls for stunning views. Take a boat trip to the nearby town of Perast, known for its well-preserved Baroque architecture and the iconic Our Lady of the Rocks church. Overnight 3-star Art Hotel Galathea or similar.
Day 4: Kotor - Budva - Sveti Stefan – Ostrog Monastery - Podgorica (3.5 Hours driving time) B
After breakfast drive to the coastal town of Budva, known for its beautiful beaches and well-preserved medieval Old Town. Explore the narrow streets, visit the Citadel, and relax on the sandy beaches. From Budva take a short drive to the exclusive island resort of Sveti Stefan, known for its luxury hotels and stunning views. We will stop at a panoramic point where the island is visible and it will be explained to you more by our guide, continue to visit the Ostrog Monastery, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Balkans, built into a vertical cliff. Explore the monastery complex and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After this visits drive to Podgorica for overnight at 4-star Aurel Hotel or similar.
Day 5: Departure – Podgorica – Podgorica or Tivat International Airport B (15 minutes driving time)
Depart from Montenegro according to your flight schedule, taking with you memories of the country's rich history and natural beauty. End of our Services.
Note: This itinerary as below can be customized according to your preferences and the duration of your trip for the last day. We do not recommend the itinerary below for: January, February, March, November and December.
If your departure flight schedule is late afternoon or evening, we suggest to visit one of the national parks or Skadar lake with extra cost as below:
First option 70 Euro per person extra for this trip: From Podgorica drive to Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans, and take a boat trip to explore its beautiful landscapes and wildlife. (1 Hour driving time from Podgorica to Skadar Lake and Podgorica Airport)
Second option 99 Euro per person extra for this trip: From Podgorica visit Durmitor National Park, known for its rugged mountains, deep canyons, and glacial lakes. Take a scenic drive through the park, stopping at viewpoints, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty. After this visit drive to Podgorica International Airport for your departure. (3.3 Hours driving time from Podgorica to Durmitor National Park and Podgorica Airport)

Best months for tours
We recommend you booking this tour for one of the months: January, February, March, April, May, after 10 September, October, November and December. However, this tour can be booked also in other months as per your request, we arrange the tour during the 12 months of the year.
If you would like to book this tour for one of the months that we don't recommend: June, July, August, the price per person will be for 30% higher than other months.
This tour is private. For group tours of more than 10 people in a group, please contact us for lower prices.
Cancellation Policy
Payment Conditions for Group Departure dates, for clients that book directly at our website.
1.1. THE CLIENT is required to pay Balkan Destination a deposit of 30% of the total amount at the moment he/she book the tour as per departure dates or Private tour (FIT) at our website.
1.2. The remaining 70% of the total amount must be paid to Balkan Destination LTD, no later than 30 days prior to start date of services of this tour group departure or Private (FIT) tour.
1.3. If you book this tour within 30 days before the tour starts according to the group departure dates or as per your departure date as a private (FIT) tour, we will require from you to pay 100% whole amount before the tour starts.
Cancellation Policy for Group Departure dates and Private Tours
For group tours of 6 people or more, the following cancellation policy will apply:
a. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 45 days or more, prior to the arrival date, then a full refund will be given, minus a bank transaction charges.
b. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 44 to 30 days, prior to the arrival date, a 10 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
c. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 29 to 21 days, prior to the arrival date, a 30 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
d. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 20 to 15 days, prior to the arrival date, a 50 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
e. If the reservation is cancelled/amended 14 to 7 days, prior to the arrival date, a 70 % penalty of the total amount will apply.
f. If the reservation is cancelled/amended less than 7 days prior to the arrival date a non-refund will apply.
g. In case of no shows or early interruption of services a strict non-refund rule will apply.
Cancellation for FIT/Individuals private bookings. FIT tours of 5 participants or less which have been confirmed paid and Invoice settled, can be cancelled without penalty up to 10 days prior to arrival date. Cancellations after this deadline will be charged 100% in full. Bank transfer for refunds will be the recipients’ responsibility.
Balkan Destination reserve the right to cancel any of the published tours on our site only according to fixed dates that are published for groups. When there are not enough participants on the relevant dates, in such cases, we may cancel the departure date by notifying the clients that already booked in a written notice, no later than 30 days prior to the start of the tour departure date. In such cases when we cancel a departure due to insufficient participants on the due date, the clients will be refunded all the money 100 % they have paid to us in total.
