Balkan Destination – Terms & Conditions By using www.balkandestination.com, booking any service, or participating in an activity, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions: Service Description & Purpose Balkan Destination sh.p.k is a Ground Service Tour Operator providing a wide range of travel, event, and leisure services in the Balkans. We organize, coordinate, and facilitate the following services: • Adventure Tours & Activities – outdoor and cultural experiences • MICE Services – Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events • Restaurants & Wedding Venues – find the perfect venue and create unforgettable memories • Bus Tickets – convenient bookings for regional travel • Amazing Attractions – museums, churches, historical sites, and more • Local Guides – explore hidden gems with experienced guides We act as an intermediary between suppliers and clients, providing a platform to search, book, and organize services efficiently. While we strive to ensure all information is accurate, Balkan Destination relies on suppliers for product details. The terms “Balkan Destination”, “Websites”, and “we” refer to Balkan Destination sh.p.k and associated domains. The terms “Guest” or “Client” refer to individuals or entities using the Websites to complete bookings. Currency All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include applicable local taxes, unless otherwise stated. Payment Method & Booking Fees • No extra fees are charged for online payments. • Some services require a Deposit, with the remaining balance payable at the supplier or directly at the venue. • Payments are processed securely via Pro Credit Bank or as indicated per service. • Full prepayment or alternative guarantees (e.g., bank transfer) may be required for certain services. Booking & Online Service Agreement • Booking creates a contract directly between the client and the service provider (hotel, bus, restaurant, MICE venue, tour operator, guide, etc.). • Balkan Destination acts solely as an intermediary for bookings, reservations, and payment facilitation. • Clients must accept provider policies and pay any remaining balance as required. Service-Specific Policies Each service offered on the Websites has its own cancellation, claims, and refund policy, which will be clearly communicated before booking. • All type of tours organized by Balkan Destination follow tour-specific cancellation and refund rules. • Third-party services (hotels, restaurants, bus operators, attractions) follow supplier-specific policies. • Clients are responsible for reviewing and accepting the policy before booking. • Late cancellations, no-shows, or changes may incur charges according to the applicable policy. Prices & Provider Information • Prices reflect the total cost of the service and include applicable taxes. • Ratings, descriptions, and reviews are for guidance only. Balkan Destination is not liable for inaccuracies or discrepancies. • Complaints about services should be addressed directly to the provider. Liability Disclaimer • Information, products, and services on the Websites are provided “as is.” • Balkan Destination is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or third-party supplier actions. • Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service or €150, whichever is lower. Compensation Clients agree to indemnify Balkan Destination and affiliates against claims, losses, or expenses resulting from: • Breach of these terms • Violation of laws or third-party rights • Use of the Websites Liability Waiver – Adventure Tours & Activities By booking or participating in adventure tours, excursions, or outdoor activities organized or facilitated by Balkan Destination: 1. Assumption of Risk o Activities may include hiking, walking on natural terrain, horse riding, mountain biking, boating, outdoor cooking, and cultural experiences. o Participation involves inherent risks, including injury, accident, illness, or property loss. 2. Health & Fitness o Clients confirm they are physically and mentally fit to participate and disclose any relevant medical conditions. 3. Release of Liability o Clients release Balkan Destination, staff, guides, suppliers, and affiliates from any claims, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 4. Compliance & Personal Belongings o Clients must follow safety instructions and are responsible for their personal belongings. 5. Third-Party Suppliers o Some activities may be operated by independent suppliers; Balkan Destination is not liable for their acts or omissions. 6. Minors o Clients under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to sign and accept this waiver. 7. Acceptance o By booking or participating, clients confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver, which is part of the Terms & Conditions. Protection and enforcement of copyright Balkan Destination is an exclusive owner of the general and executable project, and all software applications and content of balkandestination.com, kosovodestination.com, balkantravel-ks.com, kosovaholidays.com, balkanaccomodation.com, western-balkans.com, balkandestination.com and websites. The author of all the information at these portals is Balkan Destination. The contents that are not in possession of Balkan Destination are identified as such in these terms and conditions and/or websites. Most photographs are the exclusive ownership of Balkan Destination. The copyright to all materials on the above-mentioned websites belongs to Balkan Destination. The user and the visitor of Websites cannot copy or use the information for profitable purposes without the knowledge and written permission of Balkan Destination. All rights are reserved. The permission is given by Balkan Destination only through prior agreement in writing form. With the exception of those mentioned in this section, all other uses of material from Websites are strictly prohibited.
