Day 1: Pristina-Peja-Rugova Valley-Zip Line-Via Ferrata climbing –White Drin&Radavci Cave- Pristina (4 Hours driving time)

Today we experience Kosovo’s longest Zip Line in the region with 640 meter flight in less than a minute and "Via Ferrata," the first of its kind in the Balkans. A vertical rock face of 100 meters is perfect for experiencing the thrill of rock climbing in a controlled environment. The hiking and climbing along the cables and wires offers a spectacular view over the city of Peja and the Rugova Gorge. The trail travels through ancient caves which now serves as a shelter for wildlife. We finish the hike in one of the villages of the Rugova Gorge. After this visit Radac Cave that is located under the surface of Albanian Alps in Radac, Peje. It’s like an endless circuit of tunnels, canals, sculptures created by the natural forces of water through years, the cave is near the river of “White Drin” in shape of a waterfall which gives it a magical look. This cave is 2100 meters long and it is still to be explored, now only 300meters are available for visitors. Optional: only with extra five euro per person you can visit also Patriarchate of Peja constructed in the XIII century. It is composed of four small churches with beautiful frescoes. The Church of the Holy Apostles was the first church to be built by Archbishop Arsenije (d. 1266). For its architectural and cultural values it represents is part of UNESCO.

Note: The Via Ferrata and Zip Line were done with professional equipment provided, trained guides, and advanced construction supported by Italian and USA from Robertson Company, professionals with extensive experience in the Italian Dolomites. No rock climbing experience is required even for zip line you don't need any experience. There are metal steps installed in the rock face making it a doable climb for just about anyone.
